This professional is a member of the finance team and assist the Financial Manager of financial affairs for the organization.
This position support local financial / accounting practices, procedures, rules of general ledger. The Finance Analyst is responsible for all working tasks daily regarding company’s financial rules, the maintenance of its records, and will help to completing internal month-end and year-end closing process.
This professional should prepare several financial reports for review by Finance Manager and Financial Cordinator. The position work closely with all local departments to create an integration to ensure adherence to company practices and policies.
Daily reconciliations between all Banks Statement and ERP;
Send electronic files within AR s data from ERP to Bank by internet;
Identify and book in the ERP each AR has been reported in the AR Report from Bank;
Make phone calls to each customer who has AR overdue to negotiate a payment date;
Alert to customer about 5 (five) work days to make the payment in the bank. Inform too that after 5 (five) work days of overdue, the invoice should be send from the Bank to Notary Public;
Check a note in the ERP about customers who has usually paid the invoices in overdue. This note will block the customer in the ERP system to future sales;
Send weekly reports to Financial Manager regarding AR overdue;
Print monthly reports regarding all AR movements to check by Manager / Cordinator with
Bank Statement and GL;
Check every day all invoices or taxes received to payment with the ERP. In case of not previously input in the ERP, each invoice or tax should be signed by a Manager accountable for this expense or tax.
All invoices without an appropriate signature should be refused;
Input in the ERP all general expenses made by Administration Department or monthly expenses regarding outsources services agreements;
Call to suppliers to ask about invoices recorded in the ERP which bank advice has not been received to do the payment;
Make checks or input in the Bank s website the payments previously authorized by the FM;
After the payment authorization by FM / GM, print all receipts and save in an appropriate file. This file should be checked monthly by Coordinator and FM;
Print each 15 days from ERP reports regarding all payments done during the previous days and make reconciliation with the Bank Statement;
Input in the ERP all expenses and AR previously approved in the Budget or informed by FM;
Update in the local Cash Flow Statement all expenses and AR already done;
Send to FM a weekly Cash Flow Report and make corrections if necessary after discussion;
Print and file all reports to support the monthly closing and end year closing;
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Graduating at Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields;
Minimum of 2 years of related finance or accounting experiences. Strong computer skills and ability to work within a proven ERP;
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES :
Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language;
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Proficiency in use of MS (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
Working knowledge of ERP;
