Work Content :

  • Procurement strategy development
  • Support the development and execute supply strategies, ensuring total alignment with global and local strategies;
  • Manage relationship with suppliers;
  • Manage risks of supply and develop contingence plans;
  • Participate actively the market analysis;
  • Analyse SRM data to ensure best service level from suppliers;
  • Management of Land transport, sea freight, customs clearance, pallets and incoming freight.
  • Procurement strategy execution
  • Ensures that end-users requirements are sufficiently detailed;
  • Help to guarantee the all prices to be placed within service level agreement (SLA) limits;
  • Follows up on projects execution activities and align the appropriate action with the manager;
  • Identify / action cost reduction programmers / procedures;
  • Administers the tendering system (SAP / ARIBA);
  • Manages and submits monthly work reports to the procurement manager.
  • Supply base management
  • Analyses data related to macro and microenvironment, market sectors, develops knowledge on industry characteristics and trends;
  • Builds cost models to determine should cost and total cost of ownership (TCO) of supplier commodities to support supplier negotiations with the manager;
  • Takes cognizance of requests from end-users and suppliers for the adding and / or removal of items to contracts and informs contract management accordingly;
  • Support the development and implement strategies for negotiations with suppliers.
  • Stakeholder relationship management
  • Promotes interaction with end-users to ensure supplier development and appreciation of end-user requirements;
  • Establishes and maintains effective supplier relationships with suppliers, so that the benefits of better communication and understanding may be reaped by the company;
  • Keeps the end-users informed regarding the latest issues involving their requirements and the influences that external forces could have on their situation;
  • Liaise with end users / stakeholders;
  • Facilitates communication and information flow between end-users and the supply market;
  • Identifies benchmarking opportunities.
  • Daily activities management
  • Provide guidance on how purchase requisitions should be tackled with operational team;
  • Ensure systems, policies and procedure adherence;
  • Ensures that local sourcing practices and processes conform to overall procurement policies.
  • Requirements & Skills :

  • Previous experience in Strategic Sourcing;
  • Knowledge in logistics negotiations;
  • Knowledge in cost management;
  • University Graduated;
  • Advanced English level;
  • Advanced Spanish level;
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Excel;
  • Knowledge of negotiation.
  • Advanced requirements (nice to have) :

  • Knowledge of Market and main supplier of Category;
  • SAP / Ariba systems previous experience;
  • SRM previous experience;
  • Soft Skills :

  • Sense of individual responsability;

  • Maintain a healthy focus and attitude under pressure;
