Verizon Media is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and customer obsessed Account Director to join the Tech and Telco team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling self-service and managed access to Verizon Media’s DSPs
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Tech and Telco clients

    Develop strategic plan to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals

    Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Verizon Media resources to meet not only advertising needs, but overarching business needs

    Develop and expand client / agency partnerships with rigorous and detailed attention to client service

    Understand and effectively communicate Verizon Media’s value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts

    Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry including developing innovations in mobile, social, and programmatic buying

    Develop custom client solutions utilising Verizon Media!’s entire suite of products including Audience, Video,Native and Content .

    Develop strategic plan to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals

    Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Verizon Media! resources to meet not only advertising needs, but overarching business needs

    Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

    Minimum Qualifications

    5+ years of experience in online advertising or software companies

    Very good understanding of the programmatic landscape

    Proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients.

    Deep understanding of the digital media industry with an ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients based on data / research.

    Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close including stakeholder identification, customer influence, relationship building, and closing.

    Strong skills in solution development and ability to produce client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions that improve / accelerate client campaigns.

    Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong consultative sales skills, personable, charismatic

    Bachelor’s Degree

    Previous experience and understanding of programmatic buy and Audience solutions

    Fluency in English
