Clariant is a leading supplier of catalysts used in Syngas, chemical and environmental industries. We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to our Latin America Syngas sales team who will be responsible for maintaining current customers and penetrating new accounts in Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen industries and some refineries' applications.

  • Responsabilidades

  • Ensure achievement of catalyst sales, margins and We Must Win Battles sales goals;
  • Responsible for the complete sales process from acquisition, bid proposal including risk management, contract negotiations and after-sales services.
  • Supports order processing;
  • Maintain business with existing customers by frequent technical and commercial meetings, account management;
  • Acquire new customers (analyze and understand client's technology in detail, offer appropriate products);
  • Maintain reporting systems - forecast, installed volume, Miller-Heiman sheets and similar, call reports etc.;
  • Liaise with TS, R&D and PM functions to review process & spent catalysts evaluations, technical consulting, troubleshooting.
  • Requisitos

  • Strong experience in technical sales, R&D or catalyst operating; Syngas applications is a plus
  • Graduation in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Language skills : Advanced / Fluent in English ; Spanish is a plus
  • Communicative, good negotiation skills, results driven with the ability to work effectively with no direct supervision
  • Ability to travel to both domestic and foreign locations
