Job SummaryThe LAR PMO Leader has functional responsibility for leading the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Customer Support & Maintenance Business for LAR.
PMO lead has direct management over PMO Project Administration team and indirect functional leadership for the sub-groups delivering projects or programs under the direction of the PMO office.
PMO lead is also responsible for driving business objectives; performing project and program reviews; continuous improvement / productivity programs;
coordination with GEC for engineering support; developing tools / methodologies for engineering efficiencies.
Ensure PM / Program managers are maximizing revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction through the use of consistent methodologies, processes, procedures, tools, and metrics.
The PMO will ensure projects and programs are successful through proper planning, risk assessments, accurate forecasting and scheduling, controlled within scope and boundaries of the contract obligations.
Development of business objectives for improvements in project and program execution.
Project reviews : Initiates, identifies target projects for reviews, identifies and escalates issues, facilitates review of project risk and drives mitigation actions.
Ensures harmonious alignment of PMO strategy, objectives, and activities, through collaboration with other business functions to deliver on regional programs performance objectives
PMO is a primary coordination point with SSB for sharing CSM resources for engineering / startup.

Coordinates effectiveness utilization across COEs / Field Resources with remote support
Master delivery resource capacity / demand planning across sub regions
Variable workforce planning
Ongoing Workforce competency (FSE, RSE, PM, AMPS, consultants) for emerging technology
Works with portfolio team on delivery templates and mechanics per offering to roll up to field teams
